I’ve lived with a stammer for as long as I can remember. As a kid, speaking up in class or even holding a simple conversation felt like an impossible task. That all began to change when my teacher, Matthew Burton, believed in me and gave me the support I needed to find my voice.
That journey was shared with the nation on Educating Yorkshire, where my breakthrough moment inspired millions.
I went on to study Broadcast Journalism at university, learning how to use my voice not just to speak, but to tell stories that matter.
Now, I travel the country delivering talks in schools about various topics and working with corporate audiences on leadership, resilience, and the incredible impact one person’s belief can have on another’s life.
My story is proof that with the right support, belief, and determination, you can overcome the barriers in your way and help others do the same.
